I am curious as to why the one in focus is poorly lit. With the short DOF, I am left with nothing to look at?

I actually really lke this shot.
I think the depth and very dark tones compliment the devilsh look. Even the hot colour casting also contrinutes to this theme. Shallow dof works a treat here also. Only suggestion really is I woul have maybe spread the ducks across the frame a little more. and maybe created a nice round arc across the back left side to look symmetrical with the black backing on the right to clean the images symmetry. This is getting real picky but i think this image is almost spot on for me great work mate ken |
