I took an old phot I shot using a green chroma key background. I didn't want to take the time to drop out the background for each of the 80 or so shots I took so I converted them to black and white. I used a photoshop pluggin from alien skin called exposure. I selected Fuji Neopan Across 100 (grain off) setting. I have only taken black and white photos using Kodak plus-x and tri-x when taking basic photo class at Laney College.

From my experince I like the digital black and white conversion better than shooting real black and white film. Is this because I don't have enough film experience or is this really compariable?

Personally I don't mind shooting film just don't like developing and printin.I don't like the darkrooms or chemical smells and long processes. However, I like the way film looks just don't want to go through the pain to get end result using film process.

Please feel free to give critique in terms of how this photo could have been differnt if shot with BW film.
