As was said earlier by Dustin, cloning the 'pole' out would be very difficult and time consuming.

The easiest way is to select random portions from the rest of the wall, copy and paste them on to their own layers, then move them around over the poleto suit.

In effect cloning, but not using the clone stamp tool !!

Select with any of the selection tools you prefer, feather the selection, in this case around 5 pixels. Copy and paste. Then position them. You can flip each piece, rotate, free transform, all of these are to reduce any pattern.

The pot was done this way too. Selected with the Polygonal Lasso Tool, then flipped horizontaly.

For a quick copy and paste without placing an item on it's own layer do this: Make your selection, feather by around 5 pixels, now press and hold down the Ctrl and Alt keys together, then click and drag the selection to where you want it. Again, while the selection is still active, you can transform, rotate etc.

If I'm honest, I preferediting images than actually taking them. Just have to get good at it now :roll:.
