Any subjections or direction would be great.

Neat Pictures, Welcome to the post. I like the first picture better. What Camera and Lens were you using?

I actually prefer the 2nd picture. The partial building that juts into the top right corner of #1 bugs me. Also, there is a bright sign on the building in the background of #1 that distracts me. The second picture is clean and uncluttered.

I have the FZ20 and love it. How do you like your new FZ30?

Ladyhawk,

You are right about that sign in the background of #1. I was looking more at the whole building and wasn't looking at the whole picture with a full window, so was just scrolling through the picture. You are right, I can see that sign is a little distracting, when I use a full screen to look at that picture.

So far I love the new FZ30, the focus ring is great and new screen with the way it swivels is great. The different image ratios is nice and the longer exposure over the FZ20 is awsome. And the viewfinder is better over the 20.

good intro man..

i prefer the 2nd one, a little more depth to it.. next up will be trying to incorporate some people or other objection in the foreground.. you may need a wide angle adaptor, but i think you will find your pictures come to life with a little more going on.. still, i enjoyed these and look forward to your fz30 shots..
