less dof for sure as the background is very distracting.. also at this angle of shooting, the flower lacks depth.... maybe get in a little closer and try to get some different angles, see if you can get one that feels a little more 3-dimensional..

i agree with dustin's comments here. i think you have a good eye, the color of the flower offset bt the green grass is a nice combo, just play with it a little more.....if it ever stops raining ;).
