I took this back in the 80's when I was in the Air Force, I got lucky enough to go up in a KC-135 Tanker for a refueling mission. This was taken in Alaska.

how was this picture taken? was this picture taken manually or remotely? if manually, where were you positioned?

Hello,
In the back of the plane the person that lowers the boom to refuel the planes has a long glass window he lays down to look thru when working, I was along side him shooting thru the window. What is really weird is looking thru the window when the plane comes in for a landing and you see the ground coming up at you. |
