the exposure works for me..
a few things to make this one better.. -don't crop off the right side of the tree -boost saturation of the foreground a bit -sharpen it! still, it looks good, just will look better with a little tweaking ![]() -------- dustin www.hardwickphotos.com |

thanks fo the reply Dustin..
Itwas really bad on my part that I couldn't cover the full tree.. that was not a Crop. the Sun was going down real quick.. so i was in some kind of hurry. By the way I say all ur fall color photos on the forum.. they were too good.. I am not posting critiques because i think i need some more time and experience to do that... pasu_chennai |

Pasu,
sunset can sometime be a very hurrying experience.. often times i find myself sprinting for a perfect spot just as the light is fading.. so i feel your pain.. on critiquing.. i encourage you to voice your opinion.. if you have a question about an image ask it, the original poster will be more than happy to answer your questions... if you like or dislike something, go ahead and say it.. and if you aren't looking at something quite right, someone will stear you in the right direction.. its just such a valuable learning tool that i want to encourage anyone, of any skill level to participate.. there are things to be learned from everyone.. -dustin |

and even if you can't comment on all the technical stuff yet, certainly opinions on composition, content and other elements of an image are always welcome.

I have to say it's nice to hear the comments of others about critiquing. As a newbie myself with a long way to go, it's great to be welcomed and have my opinions valued by others who are not interested in being better than other people, just improving everyone's skills.
Pasu - hope you're ok with me stealing your thread for this but I thought this would be a good thread in which to make my comments. Cheers guys. |

Dustin's technical comments are, as usual, right on. I just want to add that the sky colors are amazing. This was a shot worth getting even if you had to hurry up a bit.
