here we go..

#1- not my fav of the bunch.. but still.. good composition, great lighting.. and a nice smile.. good start..

#2- one of my favorites.. love the composition.. very refreshing, unique.. nicely done..

#3- this is excellent.. this one and #6 vie for my favorite.. the composition is great.. subjects are placed perfectly.. expressions are absolutely intense and perfect.. the selective focus is superb..

#4- the light is too much, not enough detail retained in your subject for me.. if he had been about 1 foot closer to you, it would have been perfect..

#5- i like this one alot too.. the expression here is intense and engaging.. the composition is close and clean and works quite well..

#6 -the last shot here is one of the strongest for me.. i was not there, so i can't say that you captured the feeling well, but i definately get a lot of feeling from the last shot.. the composition is wondeful here.. you are close enough to capture the subject well and the hardships he is obviously enduring.. but have left enough room to give the subject context.. the focus is selective enough to isolate him, but leaves just enough sharpness in the background to keep it contextual..

this is a simply marvelous set.. anyone interested in any sort of reportage/pj stuff look no further for some great examples..

hats off to you LB.. you have certainly impressed me..

i agree with everything dustin said...and i'm glad he put it all so eloquently cause it's been a hectic day and i'm having trouble putting words together into a coherent sentence. i like #'s 3 and 5 best. if the eyes are the window to the soul, you've captured it....fine fine work LBoy.
