Hi Dave,

This looks like you've posted it here straight out of the camera. A little post work will improve this one a great deal.

Overall you've done well with this. You will have a more powerful composition if you crop it from the right and top more than what you have here. Bumping up the highlights will give it a better feel too. These yellow flowers are quite bright in ther natural environment so I like to see them bright in photographs too.
