I was in Washington DC last week and took a picture of this flower near the White House. When I got back and looked at it I noticed a hard line between the center of the flower and the pedals. It looks "set in" for lack of a better word. What caused this? Is there anything I need to do to make this picture look better in the future?
Camera is a Canon S70. Thank you, Ron http://webpages.charter.net/kazman442/images/flower.jpg |

Your aperture was too large for this flower so only some of it was in focus. to get more of it in focus, try taking the picture in AV mode on your s70 and raise your f number to get more depth.
