Hi All,
Attached is another digipix taken with my Canon PowerShot S500. The focal point is the rooster made from all kinds of flowers. How could this pix be improved please advise. Thanks and regards, Quan |

Try using forced flash.
The Rooster will then stand out against the background. You could probably crop the shot a little tighter to make the rooster the main point of interest, or perhaps put somebody in the forground pointing to it. |

I don't think forced flash will help much here because you are probably shooting from outside the flash range. A time of day when the angle of the light is different is probably the best option, but in the meantime, here are my edit suggestions.
Crop tighter. Blur Background elements. Selectively darken Rooster and hen slightly. Example attached. |

I guess we all have different ways oflooking at things. It seems to me this subject needs the scale and context of the people surrounding it, so I cropped the sop and bottom, then used soft spot to enhance the lighting on the rooster.

Thanksa lot Gents for your kind comments and advice. To be honest, I prefer the second photo which was cropped and modified by Rodney. The blurred backgroundhelps hightlight thesubject.
Thanks again and regards, Quan |

![]() here's my effort. something is still not right in the composition also cropping too much endangers the whole scene. this isn't any better but... |
