That's a tough one for sure.If your intent was to isolate the one player, you achieved it. I'm not very found of a blurred foreground (but you really don't have a lot of choice with such a limited DOF in these conditions).
Personally, I'd like to see how it would look with the aperture stoppedway down so that some of the other players would have been recognizable versus totally blurred(i.e., a bit more Depth of Field). Perhaps you already tried this (smaller apertures) and didn't like the results (or wanted to isolate the one player to the max). |
