interesting perspective but it looks lopsided and parts of it are overexposed that take away from the rest. a different angle and longer/shorter exposure displaying the fountains motion or lack there of would work. this one just make me dizzy trying to figure out what i'm looking at.

Besides what MJ has said, I don't know if you tried this one from another angle. Thanks Jaki.

there's also a problem with the framing here. there's really nothing holding the photo together and no central point of interest, and believe me i've heard that a few times. it needs a natural frame or something to keep the viewer from thinking this is just a snapshot or crossection of a much larger photo they're missing out on. that's just the way i feel.... don't take it too harsh E.S. I really like most of your stuff but this one doesn't work.

thanks, guys, for your honesty.
i didn't really think much of this one myself. the lighting lately around here has been horrible, and finding something, anything, interesting to shoot has been a chore. scot |

I'd bet if you cropped out the ground and made the shot look panaramic, it would be much better.

for me this angle doesnt work either.. the broad expanse of slightly overexposed foreground without interest really ruins this one..
