Hi everyone
With this photo, I attempted to get the fruit in the picture to tell the story of what the guy does. I attempted also to show that even though his job isn't the most glamorous, he is proud of it. |

Very nice expression on the gentlemans' face. I love his eyes and smile.

The first thing that captures my attention is the drastic change in DOF. Was the backgound blurred in PS or some other program? The top edge of the fruit, where it meets the background looks odd, possibly due to the editing, if there was any.

Hi Widowmaker
"Was the backgound blurred in PS or some other program?" I used the narrowest DOF I could get from my camera, but it still looked as though buildings were growing from his shoulders, therefore I blurred the background a bit more. Well spotted. |

i like the expression you caught on this shot.. but i am with widowmaker here, the drastic change in DOF, partly from your blurring is just a bit distracting.. u think you can post the original to give us an unblurred reference?

I'll have to get the original from home(do all my posting at work, in SA not to many home users have broad band connections).
