unfortunatly, this shot was taken during a subsequent sunset happening a few miles

Nice contrast and lines. For me, though, it would be better withthe whole of the foreground circle in the crop. Then again, maybe the hatch wasn't big enough to accommodate that and still take up the whole frame.
I do like these contrasty B&W shots - going to have to try some myself. |

Yes, I like the lines, I love what you saw and chose to shoot.
I would prefer more DoF, for a sharper foreground and more detail in the highlights (right). A polarizer or graduated ND filter would have helped. Keep up the good work. |
