Hi everybody! I need your opinions, I am attempting to make a post card of our park using this footbridge. I have two photos I am considering and would like to know which one you guys would choose and improvements you would make. I also have another question if it is the first photo, would you crop out or clone out the grass in the water in the foreground?
Thanks! Bob H. Last edited by bhammitt; May 9, 2009 at 6:50 AM. |

hi Bob i like the second shot, i think its a better angle, i love B/W myself when i had my olympus om4ti thats all i used to use xp film many moons ago, iam still no expert but i think the contrast could be a little better, but still a great shot.

I definately like the second one better - has more depth to it. Great shot!

i prefer the second shot as well.. the angle gives the shot some depth and is more interesting than the first, which is a bit flat.. i think the 2nd one should work well as a postcard..
nice to see another post from you bob! -dustin |

In fact, I'd like to play the role of devil's advocate and say something contrary, yet I have to confess that I too find the second shot more appealing. The difference between the first and second pictures is like the difference between the Renaissance and Baroque painting. The diagonal view in the second one surely gives a sense of movement to it.
