Any comments? I took this on my trip yesterday to the Hippo's Yawn rock formation far east of Perth. This picture has not yet been edited.

I like it but would like to see more light on the mouths but that may not work without seeing it 1st.
Great rock formation though. Charlie |

Charlie, i've had the same comment said to me just before i posted it. Buti actually like the cave mouth to be darker, but since it's been mentioned again, i'll see what i can do to improve the exposure in the mouth.

cock3tail, it was quite a drive to see those rocks. I'm still debating if it was worth it. I suppose in NSW, it is kinda like driving north to see the 3 sisters

Nice try at this one, Clem. Maybe a little stronger contrast, or a B/W treatment would work here. Tom, on Point Pelee, Canada http://tomoverton.myphotoalbum.com |

I think the photograph is really good! I think the sky is really gorgeous and it really compliments the beautiful (sunset?) colors of the sun hitting the rock. I think it's a great photograph! Good job and I thnk it should be forth the drive!

Thanx for the comments. I think the hardest things about tourist attractions, is findinga time where there are no tourists around. I had to wait quite a while for the busloads of people to walk through the area.

Great shot.
The sky behind it seems really soft, creates a very relaxing tone for the whole picture which is stunning. Nothing dominates it, for me anyway. I just like looking around it, examining it and searching it. The colours are beautiful. Again, great shot. |

I like it but as Striderxl wrote, maybe a little more light would give it a little extra. I tried importing it into Visualizer Photo Resize and gave it 20 in Brightness and 50 in Contrast just to see what the outcome would look like, and it immediately appeared more sharp and bright.
Its probably all a matter of taste ![]() |
