A Step increase in Contrast will also help out the image to have more shiny surface. The best part i like is the dark left top corner and the places below the bow. That brings out the bow right the way u want it.

Try cloning the right part as dustin said or try cropping it out. Both works fine.

The second is definitely the better one. The subject is nice and sharp and stands out clearly from the background. In the first one the background object behind the subject casts a bright highlight right at the edge of the subject This is distracting and takes attention away from the subject.
