Took a walk today with only my 350D and Canon 75-300 is lens no filter either, just for fun wanted to see how I got on, MOMENT OF TRUTH now.

Nice series of pics. The old mill reminds me of the old tin mines in Cornwall. Love the moss on the stones.

#2 is interesting. perhaps some different angles and perspectives on the old mill itself would be in order? i love old ruined buildings like that. the stream, woodsy bits, etc., are nice enough technically, but frankly, the compositions don't pique my interest. i guess such scenes are simply too common around here, to the point that i don't even fire up the camera for them...

Man, I don't know how I missed this series earlier. I really like it. Beautiful spot for photos and you've taken some nice ones. I'd love to see this place in different seasons.

We have to thank Syd for searching througholder posts and finding these. I don't comment too often as I'm still learning and feel I should have a few more shots out there to be critiqued first. Still, it's too bad some have posted work and had to wait so long for comments - we do look at them - honest - just sometimes you plan to look again before posting and forget.
