This is my one yr. old cousin who happened to be intrigued by the colors so I decided this would make for a great shot:

This is a great shot that has what looks to me as overexposed. Nevertheless, the subject of children makes almost any shot look good.
She is very cute indeed. |

This shot is a good example when fill flash or reflector for fill should be used. The flowers are reflecting light back toward the child's face creating color issues as well as unpleasing mask like highlight on the front of her face. Fill flash would have cleaned up the light a bit.
Understandably this is a candid type shot, but this does not negate the fact that the blue and orange shirt is a big attention getter. Expression, pose and overall mood are great. Rodney |
