Again, another good shot. Maybe if the ISO was set a little lower, you may have lost lost the noisy look about it.

Thank you, humbled that you saw some good in it. Will remember to check ISO settings the next time, I think I was getting ready for an appointment, and just forgot to check the ISO settings on my camera.

It's noisy, but the angle, lighting and contrast are nice. Keep experimenting with some different settings, ISO, etc. You're on the right track.

i think this is a really nice shot. i like the colour and contrst of the image and i really like the composition. its a different approach than the typical elevation on roses. i like the tight crop you have used here drawing the full attention to the rose's form.
in relation to noise at this size it doesnt appear to be an issue. but a reduction in iso level (as suggested by others) should solve ur noise issue. really nice work ken |
