As far as the choice of filter goes, you had the right type of image for the chalk and charcoal - a few colours, good contrast. In the end, it looks to me, kinda like a grade 9 or 10 art project - shows skill, not abstract or unique enough to really jump out at you. (I'm talking more of the effect than the shot itself). Yet would complement some decors quite nicely.

Thanks Kevin, I wasnt really going for abstract here. I was doing a shoot for my boss his band and took a close up of his hand with his guitar and just started to fool around with it, I kinda just like the effect and wanted to see what everyone thought. |
