Any merit in this shot. I felt this was one of the mediocre shots

It's a nice shot. The Duck is perfectly framed, good angle on the direction that its swimming, well timed to catch it looking back.

I believe that this would look best as part of a collection. By itself it doesn't have a huge impact, but grouped with similar shots it might tell more of a story.

Yip, I saw those shots before and liked them. My favourite is the brown duck sitting on the rock. And as a three-some I believe they work very well, two shots out of water, one in. As I said before it tells more of a story.

Very nice series. I know how hard it can be shooting these birds. Especially with my labrador in tow. Seems he likes ducks too.

I can see these shots framed and hung on the wall. Nicely done.:cool:

Hi,

To me the reflection looks a little artificial. Not sure why; I guess it was "as shot". The detail in the duck is very good and the colours are nice.

amazing shots and series, ken! i like them all!!

you've got the technique down.

i was thinking of throwing some birdseed on the deck rail to attract some critters, but

i have a feeling my cats would enjoy the company more than the birds!

ha now you have said it i notice what you mean. i actully did no digital manipulation to the reflections, it does look quite artificial.

thanks for feedback
