Nice effect. How did you change the colours in PP?

Aumma45 Jan 1, 2006 10:59 AM

Frenchy the colours come straight from the camera. PP merely sharpen and cranked up the saturation. Thanks for looking.

Think I actually prefer this one Jaki - can't make outthe vantage point though!

I shot them at the same spot though one was sunset and the other sunrise. A little hill east of Jeppe Boy High school. I sit up there every morning or evening to try and capture some nice mood. The colours come straight from the camera.

Thanks for looking.

overall, i like this one.. good cloud texture and good colors..

but i wishthe dark blue of the lower horizon and the black of the horizon stood out more, they tend to flow together a bit much..

You know dusting, I took your advice and worked on this one. I actually shot this one in Raw format. I will try and see what can be done. Thanks for looking.

Julies, you have been gone for sometime. I guess was having fun and probably some rest. Welcome. Thanks for the comment.

Kind regards.

Jaki.

in curves try isolating the mid-dark part of the curve, so where thedarkerclouds would be and try lightening that just a shade.. but don'tlet the darkest part (where the black would be) move any.. thatshould increase the contrast there.. but don't overdo it.. it won't take much..

i don't think i explained that well.. but its hard to without a visual demonstration..
