well this is not exactly what i had in mind.. more where the whole subject is in focus and just the background is blurred.. but i know you were just playing around..
anyways, i just have to ask.. does your family and friends hate you.. i know mine would if i was always taking their pictures.. as you have noticed i do not post pictures of them, mainly because they will not let me.. kudos to you for having patient/tolerant friends/fam.. -dustin |

actually my family doesn't like it when i take their picture, that's why i rarely post family pics. but this particular friend is always complaining that i dont take his picture enough, imagine that. i can't understand people who don't like to have their picture taken, or are anything but indifferent about it, because it's simply capturing life and a moment in time. those who are self-conscious about having their photograph taken, in my opinion, have no grounds for argument, because if they had it there way, no one would know what they really look like, unposed, unprepared. that's the way i like to shoot, raw, without rehearsal or preparedness of subjects. this is particularly why i don't like studio work. superficiality is dank in this world and i'm trying to avoid it.
just my thoughts though. -mike j- www.pbase.com/mikej86 |
