I posted this over in the landscapes section for the light house thread they have going but I wouldn't mind hearing what others would have done with this shot. Picture was taken with a Pentax *ist DS and a 55mm-200mm. No post processing other than a slight crop mostlyso I could meet the size requirements for posting.

I like the shot. Makes me wish you could have moved to the left and got the sunset in the shot.

Not a bad shot by any means but here is my opinion.
I think the color is a little bland and there is alot of dead space up top. The image is titled slightly to the right and I think the landscape in the distance is taking away from the horizon. ![]() |

i like widow's edited version, but i would have went ahead and then cropped some off the bottom as well...the empty water is unnecsessary for me..
