hey guys,
finally i got to shoot a little bit today! i nearly got frostbite, but thats ok, i got a few good shot. here is the first one.. let me know what you think.. this young mallard drake stepped right into the light, which helps seperate him from the rest of the group.. look forward to comments and its good to post again!

i love it dustin, glad that duck was cooperative, the light and his coloring do seperate him from the pack. overall nice light and great composition, DoF and such. nice to see a post from you ;).

A perfect spotlight on that duck.
Nice game of light and shadow + good composition.

great shot. only thing is the saturation looks a bit high in the leg area. i'm wondering how this would look in b/w.

thanks guys.. its not a saturation thing in the legs.. when it becomes winter, the legs of mallard ducks become much more of a brilliant orange and sometimes even red! very pretty!

Nice to see your shots again. I like the colors and composition. The only thing I would like to ask you is, Why you not clone the ┬┐excrements?, that┬┤s distract me a little bit.

Regards
