Hi,
this is the original of my nephew on the beach in Cyprus, untouched. I think his pose and expression lift this above the 'snapshot'. Question is, what do you think? (about the cropped version thatfollows...) Steve |

And this is the cropped version that has also had a minor tweak for sharpness.
what can I do to improve it? |

Cute kiddo Steve - looks a tad to bright though...

Well I almost agree with you - except it really was that bright! So I thought it best to leave it like that as a reminder for posterity,
I'll have another go and maybe tone it down a bit. |

I am no PS expert and am learning as best I can about doing any kind of enhancements.
His eye looking into the camera is stunning and the rest of the shot is nice and sharp. If you tone it down maybe there is a way you could maintain the sharpness of the entire shot and brightness of his eye? |

Thanks for the comments Joey, I'll try what you suggest and see how it goes.

Cropped version rocks...but could do with a litle less light...should be easy to fix.
