This was shot in early september. I just made some sorrections now after learning some new techniques. Couldn't fix the top of the building cut off though..
Would be great to hear your opinions. |
its a bit of an awkward comp... with the missing building and the part of the boat sticking into the lower right hand corner of the frame.. the exposure and saturation looks nice though...

The building on theleft looks very odd... it almost looks flat?
however, the exposure is dead on I would say |
Yah, maybe a couple of steps back and you would have had an awesome shot, or fell in the water!

Thanks for comments, guys.
The building looks strange, i agree. I think after you look at the original, you'll see what happened:G |
no wonder the windows on the top floor are so large ... heh.. :blah:
|
the incidental crop of the top of the building on the right is the only problem i can see
here. i used to do it all the time, and didn't notice it until i get home for review (foot in butt disease). i had no patience. plus, i had a homer simpson complex (ooooh! shiny!!!!) i shot everything in sight. i now shoot so much of the same subject that if i don't go home with something decent i beat myself unconcience with bad metaphor! scot |
Yeah, Scot, I also have this desease. Sinse we don't have to pay for film anymore, this desease became an epidemic IMO
|
hope you don't mind the tweak of your already great shot. i thought i'd change the
season a bit. scot |
