In this photo, Mom is lying on her back holding a photo taken during her first "ultra-sound".
The photo of the ultra-sound is not out of focus. ![]() C&C please. FP |

Again, this is a "crop" question.
Her right leg is straight, and her left leg is bent. The mother to be wanted her belly to be the star of the show. I like the window, the curtains, the pose. However, once again, I don't know about the crop. Here, I chopped her left foot in half. Adding more of her foot meant subtracting from face by making her, the subject smaller. Even if I so zoom out, to get her whole foot, then I am faced with the question of where to crop her right leg. Also, this mother-to-be is happy that her bottom does not look pregnant. (If you saw her from behind, you'd never suspect that she's with child) So this photo pleased her in that you could see that element of her body. Again, I would really appreciate some coaching on the crop of this photo as well as any other helpful comments and critiques. FP |

I am not a pro photographer, only a noodler. The PIX is essentially fine, but does need tweaking for levels (just use atuo levels).
I read in various places at various times (eg, Dr Dean Adel) that feet are considered the least appealing part of the human body, so where you cropped works fine, at least with me. In any event, congratulations and happy new year. Last edited by sdromel; Dec 31, 2012 at 6:12 PM. |

All three shots are good, can easily see #1 and #2 being framed and hung on a wall. The Second shot is definitely a family album treasure, the mother to be should be very happy with all three pictures. I really like the tasteful way in which the pictures were done, I'm (just my taste) not a fan of the nude or half nude maternity shots that seem to be so common of late.
