I'm a portrait / wedding photographer 99.9% of the time so I'm not expecting much from this. I have always liked photos that capture a small part of a automobile. I was trying for a clean, sharp image like those you see in car ads. It appears a little soft in areas but I think that came mostly from reflections and glare.
Wondering if I should do some editing and remove the reflections that are just belwo and to the left of the mini logo. I also noticed the logo is not quite centered but that was my bad when taking the shot, not from cropping in PS. I tried cropping to move it to center but then I felt there was to much of the grill taken out. http://www.digimemphoto.com/temp/mini.jpg |
i would clean it up a bit just to make it uniform.. otherwise i think it looks pretty good... mb a slight more saturation in the blue?

Better, worse, give it up and move on? There is one spot right under and to the left of the logo that is actually a shiny spot that I could remove to clean it up comptetely. The parts that I cleaned up on the grill were not reflections like I thought. It was either something inside the cars engine compartment or looking straight through to the ground.
I messed with saturation Dustin but could not really get any significant change without screwing it up completely. http://www.digimemphoto.com/temp/mini2.jpg |
