i was only able to get two shots off before this little guy freaked out and ran.
i wish the grain of sawdust wasn't there, and he would have sat still a bit longer but.. y'all know how it goes! |

This is an excellent shot but could have beenperfect if you hadmanaged not tochop his antlers off. Having said that, it works effectively as is with no distraction. Really crisp and clear and the dof works well.

unfortunatel it's right feeler was curled underneath it and it didn't look good so
i cropped it out. plus i was shooting in s.macro so the lens was about a half an inch from it (probably why it freaked out and ran!) so to get the head in focus, the feelers were not. scot |
