Went for a drive today enjoying this beautiful weather. Drove for about two hours and I think I was just deep in thought and didn't find anything to shoot. So on the way home about 10 minutes from the house I stopped at a local stream to just take a break from driving and finally took my first picture of the day.

its about 2/3 overexposed... hehe.. so i don't think you needed the exposure compensation here.. shot without, i think you would have had better saturation..
still.. with a little levels editing and some saturation boost and sharpening i think you can still get a nice photo out of this as i think the composition is good.. ------- dustin www.hardwickphotos.com |

Hello Geminichild,
Would you mind posting the alternate shot of that mushroom? It would help with my self-education. Thanks in advance. Vinny C |
