excellent pic belibeli
I was just wondering. You say the shot was taken from approx 100 feet. Has the pic been cropped or is that straight out of the camera. The reason i'm asking is that i have just bought a sigma 80-400mm lens and i am amazed at how close you got to the bird from that distance. I am basically trying to work it out if there is much of a difference between a 500mm lens and a 400mm lens. I'm using a nikon d50 what camera do you have. I never even considerd the lens you have and if it takes pics like that i want one ha ha ha I very nearly went for the 50-500mm sigma lens but it didn't have OS. any help would be much appreciated |

I don´t remember how much distance was, I kow it was very far away maybe 25m -30m, a just say 100 feet for a "donut numbers". I didn´t cropped it. The Tamron 200-500 mm I have red in many webs is much better than the Sigma 50-500mm. Here you are a new one, it was taken "about" 300feet , the animals was running, notripod. Regards. |
