It seems the butterflies have appeared where you live:-) The blurry background is so nice. Very probably the zoom did not allow you a larger aperture with a faster shutter speed which, I think, would result in in a neater image. How about a little bit more cropping from either sides of the image?

Nice picture, was this done with your 35-70 f/4 lens? Nice bokeh in the OOF background.

I'm with Bahadir onthe cropping, but only on theright side to bring the frame closer to the leaves a little.

I've tried taking butterfly pictures before, and they are usually very jittery and move a lot. So great job on your first one, a very, very Good in fact a GreatStart.
