This should be framed and put on your wall forever! Just amazing!
However, I would have used a little exposure compensation for the fill flash provided by the lightining bolt !:-) Just kidding. Awesome shot! Thomas! |

Great Photo... definitly once in a lifetime. Congrats on the wedding as well.
Amazing that the lightning decided to come down during the 1/13 of a second that the shutter was open... truly amazing. |

Thanks everyone for checking in and commenting. The lightening truly was a gift considering my exposure timeand the fact that the camera was on a ten second timer. The craziest thing of all is that I tired to take photos of the lightening deliberately afterwards and was unsuccessfull.
It was only when I viewed the photo at home on my PC two weeks later that I noticed the lightening. |

What.... it took you TWO WEEKS to view the photo of your proposal...?
Oh, wait a minute.... you're in love! Oh course, cameras and computers take a (fine) second place then.... :blah: Best wishes for the future Paul PS Dustin.... I was waiting for someone to come up with a smart remark like that one.... trust you to do it! |

Lol PJ. I was on holiday in Malawi. I had a laptop to load photos on to, but it did not have a raw convertor/viewer (wasn't mine), so I had to wait to get home to see the photos. But it took about 3 minutes once I was home to look at the photo.
