Sorry , forgot to read the rules.

Youre off to a good start. Shooting up the tree shows you think out of the box. But the blurry edges all around the pic wasnt a good idea to me. Your flowers are good. Nice focus and composition. The path scene....well its in focus. Just boring to look at. No subject to focus on.

the tree is good ..... i would prefer to see the front or main face of the flower i only like to see the side if its a single flower or bud :) allthough i like the orchid

I really, really, like these! All of them.

I especially like the tree capture. And especially the out-of-focus edges and sun flare. It gives the capture a really dreamy feel.

Take care,
Glen

I think Bynx pretty much summed it up. Nice flowers, tree shot is good, like the lens flare, but dont like the out of focus edges, and the path yea, not much there to look at and while simplicity can be good, it just isnt doing it for me here.

I realy like the tree shot. The b&w flower is good also, but dont like the color flower picture. I think you have too many flowers in that pic and they are competing against each other to draw in your eye.

Bynx has hit the nail on the head. The flowers are great nice detail and nice and sharp, the tree is nice but I'm not to keen on the blurred edges and the path has a great lead line in but there's nothing there to keep you looking. Your eye goes straight through the image its lacking a focal point.

Sorry to be rude but that's just my thought.

For the most part, I agree with Bynx. I just want to add that I have a visceral negative reaction to lens flare. Folks who aren't into photography might find it a cool effect, but I am aware of the irritation of it more than any possible aesthetic touch it may add.
