I think there is just to much going on here. The color is all yellow and the tilt/lens distortion is a bit distracting. When im going for the light trail, you really need to have some traffic to get the effect. I guess there is just nothing that stands out as that interesting here for me.

well, in defence of the yellow, unfortunately , the actual building is kind of an
ochre/yellow, the "shooting star" lights tails are yellow, the lines in the street were yellow and, in the case of the second shot, the stupid car was also yellow. wrong area to shoot if you don't like the color yellow. as for the light trail, my camera only has a 2 second delay max, so unless i am in rush hour, or the guy is doing sixty, i'm stuck with the short light trails. i was actually intrigued by the building itself, the shape of it and the way the tree seems almopst one dimentional growing up the side, and not so much the traffic. unfortunately, though not that buisy, i was constantly plagued by cars. i'll try and reshoot without the autos. scot |

i'd like to have something in the foreground.. not sure what, maybe someone walking by with an umbrella..
style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000" style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"your white balance does appear off, and if you look, your shot is tilted clockwise a few degrees as well.. style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000" style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"would be worth a revisit and some new angles i think style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000" style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"-dustin |
