The colors, lines & lights work wonderfully and the composition is great. The only improvement I suggest is to clone out the construction cranes near the right edge.

Woow, that's geat! You've caught a spectecular perspective to create an illusion as if you shot this picture from the vanishing point of the famous poplar tree avenue! Unfortuntely, no exif. I would like to know, at least, the kind of camera. It seems you merged some photos to get that panaromic view. I hope I might learn where this view is from.
Well done... |

wow, great job, great symmetry, light and detail. composed nicely- the cranes don't bother me but if they were gone that would be ok too.

over the last 10-12 years since the Berlin wall was removed and reunification of East and West in that city, there has been a huge amount of re building work. One major recogniser of this time in Berlin is the tall cranes that dot the sky line. While it would have been easy enough to remove I decided I would leave this small detail as not only a kind of date indicator but also a recognisableicon to the now accepted upheaval and change haven taking place there.
But thanks for the edit. Now its ready to be sent off to the postcard manufacturers.. ![]() |

I feel bad! Sometimes when we appreciate a picture, we do so from a mechanistic viewpoint, a picture whose story we know not. But again this is understandble. It would make it difficult to make any critique without this aspect. That is why at the end of the day, our input may play a part, but your are the final judge.
I have never been to Germany, but my entire high school history was on Germany. Regards. Jaki. Keep posting. :| |
