Well I'm new to this forum. Seems like a nice lively place. I usually post in the Landscape, wildlife etc, but thought I'd take a plunge in here. This photo was taken just at dusk, and was boosted a bit with levels, a small crop, and light NR. Not a dslr photo. Go ahead and rip it if you want. I'm looking for better techniques and ideas for taking night photos, which I seem to like doing a lot......cheers..thekman.

I think it is a very good city line shot. The only thing I find wrong is some of the lights seemed blured. Was the camera on a tripod, hand held, or bumped in any way during the photo taking process?

I agree. It looks very soft. I think the NR reduction blurred it a bit, plus when I reduced the size it definitely lost a lot of detail and sharpness. Doesn't look as blurred on the original-even after NR. Live and learn. Cheers.....thekman.
