for one, don't shoot at night without a tripod.. if you forget it, then you can pretty much forget shooting.. because this is very soft.. also, i dont much care for the composition.. you have left the heads of the crowd in, which is a distraction, but you cropped off the top of the trident.. its a fairly static composition as well, shot nearly straight on.. try out some angles, don't be afraid to experiment, do something different when your subject is less than interesting on its own..
