![]() okay so i was simulating night time with this photo. i suppose its a like or hate kinda photo. as of now i am trying to photograph/p'shop things i like and not be pigeonholed into one thing. so here i am experimenting. tell me what you think? Bert ![]() |

Bert,
As a calm, soothing picture, this works OK. I might crop off half of the water to accentuate the clouds more. But as I look at it, it seems more and more unnatural. The sun should be yellow, not pure white. If it is a simulated moon, then it should have structure on its face, not just a smooth shadowing. My problem (?) is that I have an astronomy background, so I get hung up on the physical details. Gordon |

good point Gordon. thanks for your words. these are things i learn and will keep in my arsenal.
i did add moonlike features after you told me what you thought which looks more natural, but i won't post that. i've done too much already. thanks again. here's the actual original. ![]() |
