G'day,

well nice colours and composition I would say is good however the size of the leaf and teh direction of the shadows are all wrong. Plus a tighter crop to remove the ends of the planks could be helpfull as well.

Hmm ok brb getting a leaf :D

Ollie :)

How are you guys composing these leaf pictures?

Godzillza May 1, 2006 1:46 PM

I think it's an excellent shot, as usual Scot. The leadingedge of that plank reminds me of the texture in your recent Ryuijie tribute shot, somehow?

For wantof something to say, each time I look at this pic I find myself drawn to the exposed nail head. I'm not sure if that's a true distraction to the leaf, or just me being picky...

Either way, I think the leaf should be honoured to have been memoralised this well.

HAHAH everyone is going on a leaf craze:?

This is great. i love the composition of the shot. The wooden boards really lead the eye. Leaf colour is great and so sharp.

Really great shot

Sorry, but it feels backwards to me as well.

The original was much more harmonic.

I like theedit better than the original, but only if flipped on the vertical axis.

I like the boards fading away to the top. But that nail... it just bugs me.
