I still use the model in these photos...
1st shot was taken w/ Nikon D50 and an old manual sigma 80-200mm lens at roughly f8 and 135mm, 5 sec shutter. Used 1 candle to the left of the shot about 8 inches away. |

This 2nd shot taken w/the same body only this time used the kit lens 18-55 mm at f13, and 55mm, auto focus, 10 sec shutter and 2 candles on either side...

i like the lighting and composition of this shot(s).
what would make it a winner is to try and get the reflection of the candle flame in the lens. ![]() scot |

Here you go Scott - like this? (Only 1 candle used) + using old (manual)glass again - not an AF lens... the same lens fits on the camera in the shot made in 1984 and the camera taking the shot as well
