This was taken at 6 in the morning, no makeup, puffy eyes, etc.
style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"I had hiked to this spot and done some landscape shots. The light had gotten a bit harsh for landscape shots so I turned my camera to my girfriend. style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"I'm wondering whether or not to crop this differently. For some reason I like the dead space. |

Wow John. She is really pretty and you're really lucky...
The photo has a soft feel to it that really works and the BW conversion is great. As for the crop... I would have put the top of her head in the frame... OR... Tighter on her face. Looks in between as is. However it's how you feel and this is a great picture and the crop is fine. dale |

i agree.. the crop is kind of an inbetweener.. but not so bad.. what bothers me is the hair all over the place, its obscurring her pretty face.. the deadspace is nice though and i like the mono presentation..

I think for this particular shot, the mutilation is cruel. But the conversion to B&W is cool. Hmmmm, pretty lady.

Man. I can't quite believe I cut your head off, I was so busy concentrating on her face, I missed that one, can you believe it?
Thanks for the comments - I'm sure my girlfriend will let me take more shots of her after hearing an American, a South African and a citizen of no country thinks she is pretty. |
