I like the cropped shot. The tonal range is very nice. Good job.

Good shot.

I have been watching your work for a while now, since you started about the same time as I have. This is definitely the best I have seen from you to date, and I am sure I will see a lot better from you in the future.

Dale, this was hand held. I am still learning the art of holding a camera steadily.
Here is what I learned about hand holding a camera... I can't do it. I prop, mono pod or tripod when the shutter slows down. Hand holding is a gift... And I ain't got it.

Folks,

my presupposition was that learning is a life time phenomena. If all of us had completed the process of learningand were at the zenith of learning, this forum would otherwise be unnecessry. If any one and I mean anyone were to say that he/she does not need any further learning, please do let me know how to get there.. In my langauge we say: "a container that is full needs no further filling. :-)"

Kind regards

Patrick.

Indeed, Dustin, LadyhawkVA, Carrot and many others have accompanied me since I joined the forum that is four months ago. I say thank you; your patience and persitence in guiding, advicing, commenting and even outrightly saying a certain photo does not appeal to you is paying off.

The satisfaction that you are elevating someone to the heights of good photography should put a smile on your face. Indeed grateful for appreciating the patterns.

Kind regards

Patrick.
