I think the brown works OK here, since that is the natural setting of the picture. Not a lot you can do with this shot to make the bird stand out from the background though.

I really like this picture. The bird blending into the tree is the theme of the photo after all. Really cool.

I think the brown is okay.
You could always lasso the bird and brighten it up a bit if you want it to stand out. -- Terry |

Overall sharp, good exposure, nice dof and lovely. However, the bird and the its surrounding is is almost merging into each other.

i think it works nicely, mainly because you captured nice detail in the bird as well as the area he's nestled into. i prefer the composition of the first one but think they are both well done.
