This is a cool effect and quite inspirational, inasmuch as it's given me a few ideas. Would love to see more of your UV light pics.

I like the time-lapse idea togive the sense of movement and also the surreal colours. I'm intrigued as to how you got the ball to 'freeze', because if you'd used a normal flash surely the room would be brighter?

i'm a bit surprised the black light lit up the rest of the room as well as it did... apparently digicams are more sensitive to that bandwidth than i thought! neat effect...

I do hope Cnip288 comes back and tells us more about this shot. The more I look at it the more I like the effect.
I am very surprised no one commented on this when he first posted it. Such a cool effect. |

This is a cool shot. Don't know how I missed it in November! Anyway, I love the way the tennis ball glows.

I saw this picture then... Didn't like it then and don't like it now. Frankly it only has
one attribute, the glowing ball. Messy foreground, messy background. Good idea... Bad execution. This is "Critiques" I perceive the ball was slowly roll into the frame and came to a stop. dale PS: How da heck did I get to be the bad guy around here? I'm nice... Really! |

Don't worry dale, I completely agree with you on this one. The same effect against a solid white (which would appear blue after the UV) or a solid black would be really cool. I agree that the background and sides kill this otherwise great shot.
