does this shot look...
#1 noisy? #2 too much contrast? #3 completely out of focus? it resembles all three in both photoshops, but looking at it in picasa, it looks fine. is it the software. or have the daquiries gone to my head? |

Maybe a little noisy but not really noticeable, I would crop the bottom part where the green leaves are coming up and to the right there is a orange dot(light) or whatever it is and crop that , otherwise it looks fine over here.

I agree with Gemini - Looks good to me Scot ; very nice shot in fact.
PostScript: Decidedly Tate quality in fact, when viewed through the newly released ES/SteveDak Daquirie filter ![]() |

contrast is okay, but i'd definitely crop out some of that skylight... too bright there... and also the lens flare along the right side and the leaves on the bottom. sorta like this...

Bit noisy but in an artsy way. Soft focus but not blurry. Contrast ...is ok. Squirl is on to something with the crop. I'd sip a few more o'them daq...er...drinks you like, and shoot that little bugger again....

the lighting and background arent too great on this one.. you need to fill back the face of the flower with a reflector if possible and consider an angle that you dont get the pattern of the fence in the background i think..
