Portraiture Feedback Please!
Hi everyone,
I'm a young Canadian photographer. I've been shooting for a couple years, but only consistently the past year. I shoot mostly portraiture, with a focus on travel the past while. This is my first attempt at an online feedback forum. I have a strong desire to improve so please don't hold anything back.

This particular photo (1 of 3) was taken at a local market while traveling Lombok, Indonesia, where I put both my portraiture and street photography skills to the test.

This set sought to capture a generational moment between a young girl and her grandmother. The girl stood behind her grandmother in admiration, carefully combing her long hair. “Moments” which is the title of this set, encompasses the humanity and raw connection present throughout everyday interaction. Let me know if you connect with the photo and how it makes you feel. Tell me where you think this photo falls short or different approaches to editing. I'd love to learn, thanks!

G'day KR

Firstly - WELCOME aboard this photo forum group ... not much is happening here these days but a new face is always welcome

As to your images - there are none to be seen, so I can't comment ... however from the description it sounds like you have some good ideas

Hope this helps
